This sucks

I'm changing the strings on my jazzy and I accidentally cut the high e too short, I cant use the old e because it wont hold it's tune for more then 5 seconds, and the last pack of strings I had came missing the high e.

Angle the bridge and call it a Tune-O-Matic tribute. Suddenly your E string can reach!

it could be worse. you could be stringing the high e and have your hand holding the neck straight slip, having your cornea meet the tip of said e string.
