I have four huge old growth Texas oak trees in my yard and because of those hurricanes that threw a ton a water up to Austin I have these big ass baby trees fallin all over my roof and window and porch and chairs and rocks and the neighbors cats and my head and the cars and the yard and the street and the bbq grill and the bench and the potted plants and it sounds like some nogoodniks are eggin me every otha minute... :why:
Love the trees the rest of the time cause they keep me cool...

I've got mad acorns at the moment. I have three massive oaks in the front and four big old grandfathers in the back yard.

The other day I had to *rake* acorns into large piles and suck them up with my shop vac. And 20 minutes later, there were acorns all over the yard. I'll probably have to do it again this Sunday.

And then, of course, the leaves will come. Oh, the leaves. Thank the universe that my neighbor's brother works for a company that does leaf removal. I gets the buddy discount! :yay:

You should make acorn butter. It's pretty good!
