Sony PSP modding project

So I bought a PSP 2000 yesterday with the intent of soft mod'ing it to play iso's. I'm awaiting the Memory Stick I ebayed to arrive in the mail, so I can't do any mod'ing until that comes. But I would still like to do some research and read up on it. It just took me forever to mod my Wii, so I'd like this project to go a lot more efficiently.

Has anyone gone through this process already? Do you know of any good tutorials, or even favorite sites to download iso's? I know I can find it myself, but things usually go faster with a little help... especially when wading through the rubbish. :thumb:

I did the Homebrew mod initially to allow me to do additional mods. Then I modded it to play Wii iso's off of an external harddrive that is hooked up to the back of it via usb. I had a LOT of help from a buddy of mine who is even geekier than me. It's not without its flaws. I've got to somehow update the thing so I can play current games... including Wii Fit Plus that I bought for my wife. :( I'm just too chicken to try to un-mod it and then re-mod with a newer firmware. I'm kinda a hack (not hacker) when it comes to these things.

Looks like a good read. Can't wait to check this out in more depth tomorrow. Thanks! :thumb:
