I could work with an awesome drummer, but the problem is, he wants to work with this guitarist that I'm not a huge fan of his style

a good drummer is worth his weight in gold. there is nothing more painful to watch than a band with a shaky drummer. the drummer in my covers band is awesome. he's been able to do everything I've thrown at him, (Tool, Mars Volta, whatever)

Screw whistling, I'd kill to be able to sing. Like Dan Auerbach would do the job. But I can do anything I want.
And yes, I have a full-time jarb, and I live above a garage, and etc. etc.
But I don't feel like there isn't anything I can't do. Like within reason. My biggest thing lately was putting together a nice small home studio and learning that shit... and I did.
