i agree with Mudfuzz, actually. My post count is twice as many here than TB, and I've been here half the time.

I have over twice the posts there than here, but I've been a member there 4 years, and here 3 months.

TalkBass is great for the nitty gritty of tech stuff, but God help you if even think of going even slightly OT.

I ceased being a real TB'er the moment ILF opened. But I do still like going there for the gear discussions, and there are a couple people over there whose recommendations I take very seriously. I actually like that its not off-topic. When I want to talk gear, lets talk gear, damnit. If I want to have fun, I come here.

I too consider myself an ILFer.
I post at TB maybe a few times a month.

It's funny - I discovered Talkbass through peeps like Mudfuzz and BigChiefBC over here. And while I dig TB for what it is, ILF is my online home, no matter how many strings I use.

I’ve been an ILFer for a long long time.

In fact I am the original low ender here; I’m that odd person who plays bass with fuzz.

I do occasionally post over on TB, but it is much more fun here.

We do know what the best bass and fuzz for metal is but we aren’t telling.
