Physical Activity

So...It dawned on me that I have given up on nearly all physical activity since I quit skating and FedEx...
It seems that it is time to take up skating again, get a little bit of air instead of hermiting-out in the basement.
Wonder how long I'll be able to do it, so lazy anymore.

waterskiing uses so many muscles that couch-potatoing does not require. i bet you're hurting in places you forgot you had. i am sorry for your pain.

I miss skating. I always roll my ankles now, they are so weak. Perhaps if I just keep going I'll get it.

I'm fine now, working in a kitchen means that I'm basically running, moving, and lifting for 8 hours a day, but I will be changing careers within the year to a more "cushy" job and might have to grudgingly engaged in some forced labor in order to maintain my health/girlish figure.

Fucking LAME.

I skateboard to work everyday, about a mile both ways. Used to be 2 miles before I moved. Was riding my road bike but I am lazy and haven't fixed it. For a while there I would ride 10-25 miles a day, after work. When I lived in appts I would work out in the mornings (run a mile, hit the weights, run another mile), but now I don't have a gym anymore so I just do stretches, pushups, and situps right when I wake up

. Nothing too serious, just trying to stay energized. You can achieve a serious buzz from exercise when you do it right, though.

If we were meant to exercise, why is it that EXERCISE hurts and sitting around feels great? Fuck you, evolution! You've failed us!

I've become increasingly sedentary over the past few months.
I used to long board a good bit until I broke my elbow, now I'm too scared to get back on it.
And since I got kicked out of my band, I'm not playing actual shows anymore.
Now I do a whole lot of sitting, refreshing ILF and making noise.

Ditto, but add a soldering iron and some porn. Possibly at the same time.

I've spent 2.5 weeks on the couch with a laptop.
I decided to go camping at Glacier National Park.
That involved several hikes, usually going straight up, 500 feet.
I've never been in more pain. I honestly didn't know what shin splints were before now.
