i like the Liars approach. they basically said peace out to their rhythm section & moved to Berlin. & made a REALLY awesome album after they did so.

usually when you're in a lame band, best thing to do is to spice things up by being as eccentric as possible making up for the lamness of everyone else.

perhaps he has not got paid for a few weeks and this is pretty much the easiest way to get the cheque anytime sooner.
but OMG. i can this guy fitting so well in a band like Boris.

and suddenly waking up at 4:45 in the morning to go to work seems pretty sweet!
that drummer made me think of keith moon and my buddy matt but in a bad band...
