So there's one in my guitarcenter for $599 (which i can most probably get for a solid $500), and i played it today, and um well
I liked it better than any of the other guitars i played over there today.

Anyone else have any experience with this guitar?
Cause i think i actually kinda like it a lot and might get it

I've seen em go used for sub $400 rather often, maybe hold out. Or get that one you know is good!

haha yea i know it's ugly, but it was the only guitar i tried out that i liked.

if it's been seen to go for under 400, then i will now definitely hold out

Local music go round had em there. Someone on shortscale has a refinished one for like $420 I think?

o and i was also looking at the squier classic vibe tele (it's on sale for $299 - 15%) but the neck seemed too flat to me.
i got used to my jaguar's chunky neck, so flat doesn't quite work anymore,
and the joe strummer one felt a whole lot better to me

I always thought Joe Strummer's tele was fucking sweet. And the remakes are pretty cool too.

I wish they made a mick jones tele instead :/

man i dunno if i should go back to guitar center tomorrow and get it as a birthday present or not anymore
i know i can get a used mustang or a gibson sg for the same price somewhere else

i set out to look for a guitar with humbuckers and ended up wanting a tele lol

I have a strummer tele and I love it! I just threw a bunch of stickers on it to cover up the stupid relic job. I also thought about just sanding it down because it really is the worst relic job I've ever seen on a guitar. If you get it from gc you will probably get the hardshell case with it as well. I say do it!

Get the Tele. Now.
