aight, so i've been looking at the epiphone sg's too
and the only thing preventing me from getting one is the fact that the neck's a little heavy
i just can't handle a guitar that will constantly tilt towards the neck.

i know it can be fixed using a wider strap, but why not just have a balanced one to begin with

I don't own any of those, but I do have a B.C. Rich Exotic Classic Mockingbird, and let me tell you, it's one of the sweetest guitars I've ever owned. Nice fast neck, pretty good stock pups (although I swapped them), and it looks extremely badass. I play a lot of styles doom>blues>stoner>classic rock>punk>and some thrash metal, and the guitar does all those styles extremely well. It cleans up really nice, but it also has a nice metal sound as well. I think you'll really enjoy it. The only thing I disliked about it, was that I bought it online, so I didn't get a chance to see it before hand. So it came, and I loved how it looked, but then I looked at the back of it and you can clearly see that there are like three different pieces of wood put togething in there, and they're all a slightly different shade. No biggie, but I was a little disappointed on seeing this. It's a neck-thru though, which was a plus for me.

i have a bc rich perfect 10 bich and it is a real nice guitar. the neck is smooth and the stock pups are good. i have thought about putting different pups in there but it sounds so good now i just dont know if i want to change it.

i also have a bc rich calibre classic bich and mockingbird. these are hand made in the czech republic, at least they were back in 06/07, and are just incredible. the pots and pup switch are not real good, but i had them replaced. i really, really love these guitars!!!

i am pretty sure that blooghost plays the xavieres...

i have and epi sg custom that ive used for about 8 years. its a really great guitar with a thick, round neck an pretty decent tone; but i do agree that the neck tilting downwards can be a problem for some.

i also changed out the stock tulip tuning machines for some sperzel locking tuners and replaced the nut with a graphite one.

overall its a great guitar for the price but you should try it out first to see how you like it.

The xaviere 580 in lemon drop would give you some serious hessian cred, Matt Pike style. DO IT.

I may just have to buy one myself and keep it in an absurdly low tuning....
