Cool, I love the old Traynor stuff. Not been too impressed with the newer amps, but this one looks cool. Where's it made?

I've been looking for a small 6v6 amp to dick around with and this seems perfect. I love and use my little Blackheart all the time, but it comes off thin sometimes especially if I'm coming back from using bigger amps. Your impression of the Dark Horse seems to be the opposite. Where did you get yours? It seems like ebay at $500 is the only place I can find. Do want, though.

Oh and Newark since I'm here what's the status on the Mind Warp?

Yeah the 70's PTP stuff is where the real Traynor magic lies, but they just did a pretty major revamp of their whole line so I think they are making a comeback... I bet this amp sells like hotcakes.

And, believe it or not--its made in Toronto at the same place they do everything. I was expecting to see some kind of "designed in Canada, manufactured in China" thing but nope--no outsourcing! Very cool.

The 60s stuff, built and stress tested by Pete Traynor is the biz. I've got a Guitar Mates from 67 and 72, and one of these days I'm going to actually grab a YBA-1 -- too loud to play anywhere but I still want one.

That they still build in Canada is good (I was expecting the same thing you were). I might go take a look at one of these.
