Hit me with what you've got. I've been told the Skreddy Lunar Module is what i need.. so i'm looking into it.. in the meantime.. what other suggestions do you guys have? i've got my good ol' muff so if i don't get a LM i can use that or my Britt Face.. but they both don't quite cut it.

I need something that sings.

Let's hear what the masses have to say :)

I heard the Stomp Under Foot Son of a Bee and think it's a great lead fuzz.

Cool,

i like all of these suggestions. I don't know if anything seems to hit the spot quite as right as the Lunar Module, the Pink Flesh would be awesome but they run retarded expensivee....

No Jeff, i want the goose, but that's not the lead tone i'm looking for, though it is a lot of other tones i want.

I wish i could jam. i have mad things to do, apparently.

I'd certainly agree about using a Tone Bender MkI or II clone, they really do cut through everything and have masses of lead sustain on tap.

That and 386 chip based fuzzes, they offer great tube like break up and are really loud and meaty, the D*A*M Sonic Titan (although perhaps more distortion than fuzz) is an expensive example.

Finally... a Rangemaster clone of some sort could help, they cut through masses, although not technically fuzz, they have a fuzzy like quality and also, when paired with your normal fuzz will help it break through for leads.

I would look into the Pig Mine if you are considering Skreddy. I have a PF and a PM. The PM is an excellent substitute for the PF if you are budget minded. Worth the wait for $195.

Well, I know you can have Silicon and Germanium fuzz, but I think Lead or Tin wouldn't work... they aren't metaloids, ya dig. But I could be wrong. ;)
