DUDE! We are cab brothers now!

How do you like it so far? I'm debating modding it to make it easier to get around, I don't want to fuck with it structurally though.
Rigid, fucking great job on the DY SLO Comp. So much good music! And I'm totally not saying that because we are on it, I'm digging the hell out of this thing. Guys, go have a listen and help them out.

Kingsley, Fryette, Faustone, Mesa/Boogie, EHX, Soldano, Budda, Hughes&Kettner all have made tube pedals in varying degrees that I believe all use either wall warts, and thus supply full voltages to the tubes, or use charge pumps like the Fryette stuff. Some of them are expensive and others not. I am of the opinion, and Nick and I have spoken about this before, that much of the money required to build a proper tube will be dedicated to custom made parts such as toroidal transformers, huge enclosures, etc., and also R&D because you need to source all these weird parts and have them made in bulk. It's worth it in the end but it's not like starting a company based around Big Muff and Fuzz Faces. It's a huge undertaking. I would love to do it myself. I feel there is a huge hole in the market for it.
I didn't know you made pedals! Also a wall wart is NOT used in conjunction with the Supercharger GTO. It has an internal transformer.
I don't make pedals. I just love them. I would love to get involved in it. I just have to get off my ass and buy a kit.

Alos, I'm still tweaking this Dunwich, everything just sound so good through it.
How do the Regals perform with high gain fuzz and Doomy stuff?

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem ... 003933896#So I passed up a 104z because I thought the features weren't that awesome, so instead I bought a Ibanez echo shifter. Tried it and that it was awesome although it did die on me and I fixed it somehow and sold it as quick as I could to a tech savvy friend.
I tried the 104m and the modulation just did it for me crazy but cool.
Congrats, man. Moog is gettin' a lot of love recently.

They're going to give her a few IV's of fluid and then run a pee test to make sure everythings kosher. What a weekend.... I'll have to catch up later when I'm not on my phone, unless someone wants to fill me in.

Drinking water is one of the best things a person can do. It takes a lot to harm yourself when drinking water.

We had been drinking tons of water. We finally got the test results back and it seems she has developed Anemia randomly and out of the blue, so we went out and got her some iron supplements. She spent yesterday recovering and is finally feeling better today to where she can finally get off the couch and move around with out getting dizzy or nauseous.
In other news according to UPS my Verellen is due in today and I've got the night free.

But no pedalboard at the house

Guess I'll have to get truly intimate with it and see what its capable of. Be prepared for some new full tri amp rig pics next week.

The LH cabs never did it for me. I had 2 of the 212LH's (gave one away) because of the angle of the wood in the front, it's close enough that the speakers I had would hit it at certain frequencies that really pushed the speakers out there....you could hear it with this high pitched buzz. A friend of mine is using my other LH for bass and it's even worse since bass speakers typically have even more excursion than guitar speakers. Just something to keep an eye out for.

Fucking ebay. I sold my Timeline last week and now the dude that got it says there's something wrong with it like it makes power adapter noise. The pedal certainly never did that when I had it and it doesn't sound like the kind of damage that happens from shipping. He says he used the actual Strymon adapter but I think he either hooked it up to his pedal power 2 and realized there wasn't enough current and doesn't want to buy a Mondo or Digital or he realized that he doesn't want to own a $400 delay pedal. I put no returns in my ad and I did take out insurance on the shipping. He filed a claim with ebay. I don't even really know what my options are. What I'd hate is to get the pedal back only to find that it's now somehow broken and I can't resell it or even use it. Maybe I should stick with the weirdos on craigslist.

EDIT NVM
You have insurance oin the shipping, its his issue now to process the claim. You can claim its shipping damage, and there is not much anyone can argue about that.

If you got the shipping insurance then make a claim on it. Buyer says it was damaged in shipping, so follow suit as so. If you get it back and they refund the money then you made out like a bandit, you get the money and the timeline back (which if there is a problem you can then send it to strymon and have it fixed for probably not much money and sell it again). It sounds shady but thats why theres insurance.

Sorry for the instagram post.... but yeah. I MAY have blown my 12" celestion sidewinder. Just a smidge. Hex cab is out of commission for a bit
Talking to the guy eagle twin uses for their recones. I love the sidewinder so much, I'd hate to see it go out like this.... though it did sort of go out in a blaze of glory. Like bon Jovi, just without the suede vest.
