Slowly but surely the modular market is heading to the price floor, now that it has the mass. This is good news.

If/when I upgrade my power, I'm keeping my uZeus. It's super handy if I want to build a mini/portable skiff to take with me. Just saying

Jesus, it might actually be worth it to build your cases now. Thank you based Trogotronic

I'm waiting for Intellijel to finally release their 7U cases to buy one. Which should be very soon apparently. I'll keep my Cell90 to handle the potential modules overflow anyway...
I had plans for a 12U in a portable case but scrapped that because 1) I'm going to have only half of my electronic setup as euro, the rest is a keyboard + effects case, and 2) other priorities for my monies...

Be careful with that Trogotronic power. When I had the 6u case from them, that PSU fried 2 Bastl Noise Squares...not sure why. Everything was plugged in correctly. I thought it was the Bastl at first, returned it and the same thing happened again...

Hmm, good to know

Ugh, who let me have a credit card, Batumi incoming
In all seriousness, I'm actually pretty good with finances and am stoked. With the Batumi, there's literally just two modules missing from my plan and neither have been released yet:

(The second Loquelic will be a Basimilus Iteritas Alter)

Is that what you have now or what you're planning ?
If you already have the mikrophonie, what do you think about it ?
I'm thinking of getting one soon...

I have all that except the Knights Gallop and the Basimilus Iteritas Alter, which both aren't in production yet. And the Batumi, which is on its way now.
I really like the Mikrophonie. Pairing it with Rings and/or Clouds can produce some really interesting results. It's also really handy to amplify small signals. For instance, the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators have really low output, but running them through the Mikrophonie works great. In a big system like this I don't find myself using it as much, though. I really want to buy some contact mics to plug into it, which would make it a little more accessible and open up some more opportunities for experimentation. That or I may just put it in a small Musique Concrete based case eventually.

Wow, 12U in a relatively short time then ?
Really nice system, anyway. Lots of stuff I either have or have planned to get too (though I'll stay at a smaller size)...
How's the Bishop's Miscellany ? Do you use it to record stuff from an external CV source ?
And damn you. I didn't realize the mikrophonie could be used to cleanly amplify log level stuff too. Now I really have to get one

.

- Any thoughts on the verbos stuff, quality wise?
- Any vactrol based ring mods or equivalent to a Buchla 285e out there in eurorack land?
(Not trying to build a Buchla cheap...just mostly curious).
Thanks you all.

Verbos seems to be getting good reviews from what I've read/heard so far. I don't have any first-hand experience though.
Sputnik Modular does a lot of (very) Buchla-inspired modules, he might have something similar to the 285e, I'm not really sure.

Just checked out Sputnik, thanks for the lead...but I don't think anyone is really doing one anymore...interesting (maybe the trogotronic stuff does it in a way).
Sputnik does have Frequency shifter, but it is digital (totally get why too.). Just interesting stuff to me. The Sputnik did lead me to the cwejman frequency shifter which confirmed my design thoughts (just stuff I was thinking about walking around and talking to people) via their description...
Thanks!

Wait are Batumi's shipping again? Where at?
