I just finished shoplifting from American apparel by Tao Lin. Definitely with the read, IMO.

I need something similar to start on. Any suggestions?

Finally reading 1984. About 100 pages in. So far it's good, but I thought it would be better given how much it's hyped. So far I like Brave New World better. Maybe it gets better throughout though.
