Hm, white whale, right? I've seen Kosta asked the exact same thing. Anyway, I googled and came across this:
not impossible. Maybe you can talk them into a payment plan? Just saying.

Yeah, PM Blues has had that guitar for at least around ten years. He's always been asking that much for it and that's way more than it's worth. I don't think he really wants to sell it.

Damn, that was some sort of fuck-up. I meant it to be a pm.

Well, he has got it for sale, and it says that he has two. Maybe after ten years you could just shoot him an offer and see if he takes it? Well, whatever, I don't mean to be a smartass.

Yeah, he has 'em for sale, but he doesn't really want to get rid of 'em. I talked to him years ago when he only had one and that was the impression I got. I know you're not being a smartass, but I don't want one that badly. I'm pretty broke right now, but even if I weren't it's not my style to pay overly inflated prices for guitars that dealers don't want to part with. I think he enjoys the fact that he has a couple of really rare guitars in the shop and doesn't want them going anywhere. The reason no one's bought them yet is because they're priced way too high.

Out of curiosity, is it against forum rules to post prices and/or links to dealers like that?

No, not at all, like I stated above there's only one rule!
Well, aggressively pushing stuff that you sell might put you in conflict with that one rule or posting shit from eBay that someone else might be wanting to buy or stuff like that - you get the picture. I actually edited it out because I wasn't sure if you would not want to get that guitar after all... Wouldn't want to rouse the hounds... :thumb:

Well, if those things are so rare then it's hard to tell what's priced too high and what isn't, I'd think. But of course, the fact that he hasn't sold it for 10 years speaks volumes.

Oh, thanks, phantasmagorovich. I'm not going after those guitars. Thanks though.

They are pretty rare. I guess it all depends on how much someone is willing to pay for something like that. For me that price is way too high, for someone with lots of money it may not be so bad. At those prices they are more for collectors than players.

Hey Everyone, Rob here. I am a Fuzzhugger customer and have been checking out the gear on the board here for a while now, so I thought it was time to sign up and join the fray. I am the bass player for a band called ThunderJug, we have a heavy sound and our influences are pre-punk, punk heyday (70's) with a bit of Sabbath thrown in. We are just starting up, so I will link to our stuff as we record it. I am a longtime gear head and pedal fan, I play an 82/83 Rickenbacker 4003 that I bought when it was shiny and new (yeah, I'm old) back when I was a young pup. Looking forward to mixing things up on the boards with all of you.

:hello: welcome to the love boat I mean FUZZ LOVE FORUM   oh silly me.

It's good to have even more bass players and old/-ish geezers on board.

The famous, official rule ยง1/1 of ILF is simply don't be an asshole, and that's about it. Follow that and we'll have a forum with members thinking highly of each other, relatively unmoderated and freely outspoken, too, without the childish auto-cencorship castrating all the profanities and the spicy bits.

Contribute a bit, hang around, make friends. Remember the opinions are like assholes - everybody's got one (and they are often fuzzy, as Theavondon added). Report spam, there's been a lot more laterly. And please don't feed the trolls unless they can funny show numbers :snax:

Hey guys! Elias here. A 21 year old guy from sweden, I have played the guitar for about 11 years. I play alot of blues and jazz at the moment. Of course I love fuzz, but OD's is the thing I'm relly in to! I have played in alot of bluesbands, using a Fender Hotrod deville (4x10), Fender Stratocaster and a Eastman Thinline T185mx. I'm so glad that I found this forum, seems to be the perfect place for me :)

/Elias

Hi guys, my name's Tom, live in Chicago but originally British (my American wife imported me :thumb: )

I just started a thread in DIY (poor etiquette for a newb?) but figured I'd come over and say hi also.

Been modding/rewiring guitars since I was 16 or so, finally culminating in a guitar build project I completed last year. Carved/painted/finished a body, customer wiring with an active circuit, etc. Bought the neck because I didn't have the tools/patience/skills to craft one myself.

Just starting to get into pedal mods, because I'm sick of the only pedals in my price range being Boss ones, and I like tinkering with gear. When I take the back off my Zvex Mastotron (the only decent non-massively-corporate pedal I own) it's like porn... except, like, some really weird Russian porn where I don't quite understand what's happening but I'm still turned on... ANYWAY.

So yeah. Hi. I'm new, hello, what's goin' on?

I've been using this forum for only a few days and already broke the rules! Don't want that to happen again so it seems that formal greetings should be in order.

I am the co-creator of MAIN.ACE.FX, and I love guitars and effects, both playing, building, experimenting and modding.

Looking forward to some good discussions.
