You could easily get over 800$ for those two especially with the DMC controller

Ahh yes i do see they are now $450 new so I could get more. Possible trade + cash. Im just contemplating shit. It would occupy a ton board space! Be nice to get a white version tho

My chain would convert to Guitar -> Tuner -> Dirt of various kinds -> split signal into both Moog delays -> stereo out to Blue Sky

Beyond that I would need to acquire a custom midi controller to control both Moogs together

That crazy digital Moog CV controller with the footpedal won't do it?

I don't really use either pedal beyond fairly basic delay and modulation and I'm terrible with saving presets. I'll still keep my Eventide Space so I can have that shimmer effect which I'm probably overusing. Should I be talked down from the ledge or allowed to break at least some of the chains of my digital masters and jump? My life has devolved to an existential crisis of guitar gear.
:picard:

I haven't tried any of those pedals but I highly doubt you'll miss the TimeLine or Mobius if you're moving to Moog. Most would consider that an upgrade. You don't really get more...opulent than Moog, except maybe Toneczar. Plus, if you only use a few effects from the Strymon pedals then you'll probably feel like you're getting your monies worth if you decide to streamline features wise.

conky wrote:Serial Hawk fucking rules. Been jamming their cd in my truck for months now. I need to stop being lazy and order the vinyl version.

I went to guitar center to return one of those shitty little Marshall micro amps and found a used Orange Crush combo for $50. Sounds decent, the cleans are pretty sweet. Now I have something for playing around with at home while both of my amps are at the practice space. Right about the time I was leaving I saw a fucking Tele Deluxe in the used section too. Couldn't contain myself and walked out with it. Got it home and went to change the strings and my .56 won't fit in the slot on the tuning post. What size bit should I use to drill it out with? As a result of that gear purchase I must let go of my SG. Don't want to, but I kinda spent some of the money I had put back to fix my Ranger

I think you made the right choice.

HeavyXIII wrote:Rather, since I started downtuning my Agile 24.75" instead. I need at LEAST 60 - 13 to hit C standard, everything else is too loose. Must be the scale length. :idk:

12-60 in C standard and Drop C. I might go to 11-58 with Drop C. That's for both Les Paul and Fender scale length. I have my Ibanez Artist in Drop C. It's a little tight but it'll do.

Ancient Astronaught wrote:2) Clifton, WE NEED PICS OF THE TELE!!!! Oh and yeah with the stock tuners on my tele custom even my low .54 doesn't fit right. It's the "vintage top loader" tuners that have really small holes, your best bet is to upgrade to the side load "modern vintage style" or some other upgrade. But I can verify that big strings sound amazing on a tele. :yay:

I was fortunate, then, when I could immediately fit a .060 into the tuner on my Tele Custom. I'm pretty sure the previous owner played Queens of the Stone Age so maybe he replaced the machine heads or had it drilled.

new05002 wrote:having a dicussion about this with skip via text but what do people think of this

Dual MF-140Ms or 1 MF-104M and TL/Mobius. Contemplating a trade where I could let the MB/TL with DMC controller go for $700 or a good/perfect condition MF-104M

Hmmm.. I think your set-up at the moment is as good as it's going to get.

There's going to be three of us putting our timelines up for trade for Moog delays in a couple week period  this is gonna be classic.

my interest in moving to stereo Moogs is that I like a narrow set of modulation effects and delay tones so its better to run the stereo moogs with 1 modulation effect (likely harmonic vibrato) pre delay post dirt
