There's been multiple instances over the last few months where I've requested info from GC on a used item I saw on the website and they never get back to me but the next day they take the item down from the website. It was probably gone days ago. They never bother to update it until something like that happens.

Actually to a degree yea. It's cause of the salt water in the air down here. It just sometimes happens. I have a Jackson V that I got practically brand new and it's only been in my house and in my shed and for some reason ton of rust on the jack and pickups. Not all my shit is rusty but you see it pretty often esp with gear that people just keep in their garage. I have rust on my truck too.

Yea that happens pretty often with guitar center. I've called and they have actually gone... oh we sold that a week ago it should be off the site. And sometimes it is that fast. I called up about a Sunn Concert Lead and Sunn 412L cab they were selling as a set and I was seeing if I could get a bit of a discount cause they didn't want to give me some free shipping. and in 2 days it was gone. Pretty good price for it too it was 750 for the pair. I already had 2 of both at that time so I didn't really care too much.

All day, every day. Fucking humidity. I only remember how humid it is when I travel up north or leave the country. :/
That fucking VTM though. I've been looking everywhere for a matching ampeg cabinet!

I suppose you can, it just really helps if you have a well insulated place to keep your stuff. like right now my jam room at my shed is great. all my gear that I have been bringing in there has been doing great. It's only that Jackson and anything else I have that is rusty is rusty when I bought it. It just seems like way too many people just use their uninsulated garages or sheds to keep their stuff in to occassionally play and when they are finally done with it. then it's just like those pics.
Hell the last Sunn Concert Lead I got, I bought off craigslist I got for 200, was pretty decent and all till I got it in my truck and while driving back to my shed I was overcome with the fact the guy I guess let his cat use it as a litter box. it reeked of so much fucking cat piss. I scrubbed the outside of it down for awhile and finally got it to where you can't really smell it. I finally brought it to my tech guy to change out the 2 prong cord that was shocking the piss out of me while i played it and told him that there is a good chance you'll be smelling piss all over it cause of that.

The GC used site has a couple of Crate BV150 heads kicking around, though I'm not sure whether those are good prices or not (~$500).
