Dano is only source for reasonable priced 24 fret 30"ish scale necks so you can turn a guitar bod into a bass with little moding? That is important info there! That body I sold you is a bass body and therefor you need a 20 fret neck, inless you want to really change where the bridge will be.
Man, there's an EB-0 neck on eBay as I write this but my bass is in the shop right now so I don't have the money to buy it...
So, what I'm thinking of doing is buying a complete EB-0 (since they're only like $150), refinishing both bodies 'cause I need something to do, and when I get bored or decide to change strings, I'll just swap out all the hardware from one body to the other and have a new look on the fly

Interesting, worth a try I guess. Or you could try the idea I originally got the thing for and get a guitar neck and saw both bodies up to make a double neck...

On the other hand those EB-0 necks come up every few months

I was actually considering doing this with the Samick P and Strat I have. Probably won't end up doing it though. Maybe one body could just be a piece of art to hang or something. Dunno...
I don't know yet...if it would be lame as hell or "hey that's kinda cool in a DIY way". Two SG-shaped bodies would look better as a doubleneck though.
