So here in the beautiful PNW it got hot enough today where we could only play 3-4 songs at a time before needing a break. Jam room is on the second floor an although I have ac in the house, it wasn't cutting it. We ordered on of thhose kids play tunnels with the idea of attaching a fan to one end and pumping the cooler air upstairs. Should be here weds in time for the next practice. Fuck heat.

Bass spec mkI, just tons of clean headroom available and it loves the pedals. Was going for a clean Model T/Ampeg V-series tone to pair with my other Dwarvenaut that brings the heavies and that's exactly what I got. When it does finally breakup, it's so smooth and pleasing, couldn't be happier with the voicing of this amp. Also, Nial added a vintage/modern and depth control pots on the rear for maximum tweaking capability. The pair of Dwarvenauts should make for a super awesome dual amp setup. :thumb:

Happy NAD - Hovercraft is really doing some cool stuff. What was it that made you decide to move away from the Ampeg?

It felt like 70 in Georgia. once you hit 75 here you start feeling like you are suffocating and you get the biggest case of swamp ass ever.

Fucking this. I love the South, but I gotta live near the beach to catch that breeze to make being outside in August bearable.

Man, I feel like a big gigantic hemmorhoidal asshole. I sold my boss preamp and midi pedal, and forgot to put the power supply in with it. I found it laying on my couch in my music room this morning when I was cleaning up. :picard:

he is a black street cat we "adopted" or so you might say. He broke his pelvis and my nurse stepmom healed him up. I guess he just stuck with us. Probably the only cat I know who you can coddle like a baby upside down and let you scratch him. Sweet as hell to people but a terrorizer to other small animals on the farm.

Domestic animals, even domestic birds have personalities. I think that's awesome. That sounds like I'm high but I'm not. I'm stuffed on peach and pear crumble.

Dude, score!
We have a cat and birds at home and they all definitely have their own personality....in spades.
The best animal ever was my brothers old dog. He was almost human. It was crazy.

At least I only live 20 minutes from the beach but fuck, Monday's gonna be 113(45 Celsius for ya'll across the pond) with a 30% chance of rain so it's gonna be humid as fuck. And I work at an outdoors bookstore. I swear, 9 months out of the year it's the best job in the world but times like this weekend can be trying.

Wow, I didn't know America ever reached over 40 Degrees Celsius. I thought that kind of heat was relegated to more Southern regions closer to the equator, like South America, Africa, and Egypt.

Well Coachella(where the giant festival happens every year) hit 126 degrees(52 Celsius) yesterday WITH humidity - fucking nuts.

I also live in an east/west valley so we get all day sun. Like I said, great 9 month out of the year a little warm 2 months out of the year and FUCKING BRUTAL those other 30 or so days.

Allow me to reintroduce the Gitsy monster.

She's also 6 years old, and still only about 8 pounds. Tiny Kitties.

I can also hold her over one arm and she'll balance like i'm a supervillain. She loves me.

That's racist! ;)

...and now here's Guy Smiley with the weather. Death Valley California is the hottest place on Earth. It was 128F today but I'd take that over 85 with 95% humidity in central Florida. Bay Area and LA weather are perfect for me.
