I even found some awesome bands out of my own country!

I heard of the name Sungrazer, never knew they were Dutchies
And I thought the majority I listened until now of those lists were awesome!

Jesus FUCK this thread moves fast. I'm with Parker, no way can I adequately keep up with all the chattin'. Good to see so many familiar faces and cheers to new dudes/dudettes (are there any womenfolk in the doomroom? If not, there should be!).

Shit yes. I won a pair of tickets to their show with Enslaved in Denver, my partner and I are way pumped. She's more into Enslaved than I am, but we are both pumped about Royal Thunder and Pallbearer. Plus, we're going to see Graveyard two nights after that! Living in a legitimate city is fucking awesome!
Also, to anyone who I don't already know, I'm Ben. Did I say that already? Whatever. I'm Ben. I play in Galaxicon. I also play in a project that will hopefully kick into gear in the coming weeks, more upbeat/midtempo stuff (bassist is a huge Red Fang and Fu Manchu fan) mixed with my love of YOB-style atmosphere. It's gonna be loud (once he replaces the aforementioned stolen gear).
Alex, send me a link to this new project. Or is this SVRPENT?
Oh, and here's my contribution to the non-doom jammage of the new Doom Room. I still haven't given Cold of Ages a good listen to, but this album is up there for me with Weakling as far as awesome USBM.
