Skip, sweet ass score dude! That chair was bossco, I would've totally loaded it in my car with the head.
Captain, you want a loud ass clean amp? I'll trade you my mig 50 for your orange....

Do I want a Jcm900? Citing reasons of cheap and man-crush on LANDRIAN (black cobra).

Is it a SLX? I played on a regular JCM900 once and didn't like it, but the SL-X sounded pretty damn nice. I don't know how it played with pedals because I just dimed the shit out of it.

I fucked up the 4wd in my Polaris Ranger today. Guy at the shop said it would be around a grand to fix it. Someone buy my Ghost Echo and Jamman w/ aux switch.

Well, I had my eye on the SLX so that would be the go. I'm not looking for something to be great with dirt pedals, as it will be a chugga chugga amp....which I would also just dime shit out of. Might be handy if it played friendly with delay though.
Not looking at jumping on one ASAP, just thought I'd see what you guys think, see if there are any major reliability problems or what not. Landrian says he used his live rig (900 plus GK400rb) on Chronomega...which is good enough for him, Billy Anderson, and me. :)

but fuck
hope when im ready for it
somethin like that comes up
fat chance huh

als
o fuck>philosophers tone>badascan
before now b'can was pointless in the living room
im gettin such a good sound from the lil amps
hope i can replicate it with the big boys
i finally figured out
usin dirt at low vols
is all about the pedals vol knob
works even better than a volume pedal for me
thought i should share
in case somebody is stuck
and afraid to ask like i was
ive been usin strictly amp distortion in the house
for the past year now

Did not know that...the one thing i noticed about dirt at low volumes is that mid's dont help...i scoop the shit out of my pedals and amp at home...but at rehearsals i dime the mids. Mids just dont sound good playing alone and at low volumes.

What do you think of that philosophers tone? I got one a while ago plannin to ditch my custom comp...but found it to be really noisy, maybe mine was a dud?

Palm mutes sounded awesome with the one I tried. There was one in the amp spam thread on harmony central a week or so ago for pretty cheap.

If anyone hasn't guessed I'm all clean channel with pedal dirt.... No matter the volume, I like consistency.

Dude sick!!! That's a great interview, alot of what he says about balancing a job, the band, and a family, really hits home for me...

same thing here
but i was tryin to keep the settings from the space
id plug my board in at home
and try to control the volume
without touchin the board
it wasnt working and i wasnt usin the board at home
i was just pluggin straight into the crate or pathfinder
and using their gain for dirt
i mean its fine and everything
but id like to use my peds more than once a week
i also play super low at home
i cant bare to think the neighbors
and shoppers in the store downstairs
can hear the garbage im playin upstairs

so while were on it AA
ive always plugged int o the low gain channel
the 0db one
if im tryin to go as loud and clean as possible
and usually always have at least an OD ped on
is that the one i should be pluggin into
i used that one first and it sounded good
so i just stayed with it all this time
master at 9 and bring the channel volume up
yeah so should i be in the 0db hole or the +6db hole
or if goin for clean does it matter
