The 1010 Music Blackbox looks really cool. I would definitely be interested in picking one up to use along with my Digitakt.

Effectrode is preparing to launch newer versions of their tremolo and phaser.
This page has some updated Soundcloud files of the phaser.
https://www.effectrode.com/products/eff ... be-phaser/
We’ve spent almost ten years in deep space but we’re now closing in fast on releasing the all-new, fantastic Phaseomatic tube phaser, and delicious Delta-Trem tube tremolo pedals. Both pedals are now in production and we aim to be shipping them in early spring 2019. You might be interested to know that the earlier models of both these pedals were last manufactured in Oregon U.S.A. back in 2009. Only 150 Phaseomatic pedals and 100 Delta-Trem pedals were built in total making them a them truly limited edition pedals. As you can see from the photo above the new Phaseomatic is in a much sleeker die-cast enclosure than its chunkier predecessor. There are also several more useful features too, including tap tempo, independent L.F.O.s for more randomised, natural modulation, more L.F.O. waveforms and feedback (regeneration) for more intense phasing and, of course, the signal path is all-tube! As for the Echorec 3° well, that’s classified—we could tell you but then…

It looks sharp in the mockup, but $1450+100 is the special discounted pre-sale price?

I suppose if you consider how small the company is and the nature of custom parts, that's probably reasonable.
....approaching two-grand, there's a lot of premium alternatives (guitars, amps, Korg Prologue, 5 stompbox delays). For most people with an $1800 budget, I think they'd rather have a Volante/Echosystem/Nemesis/Tonal Recall/DM-2W bundle than a modern tape echo.
I am curious to hear more demos though.

Berna 2 is finally available for Windows (OS release was in 2013). 12€
http://www.giorgiosancristoforo.net/201 ... r-windows/
Berna is a faithful recreation of a 1950s electronic music studio (mostly modelled after the Italian RAI Fonologia Studios).
Berna is a software simulation of a late 1950s electroacoustic music studio. Oscillators, filters, modulators, tape recorders, mixers, are all packed in a easy-to-use interface with historical accuracy.
Explore serial, concrete and tape music or create strange new sonic worlds with instruments inspired by the greatest studios of the early days of electronic music.

I could be wrong, but I believe that's a real prototype in the pictures. Plastic jacks, I suppose those will be upgraded. Tbh I think it looks like a cheap Boss knockoff right now.
The insides though.. damn they even got a special motor and heads made? Well I guess when it's built "by someone who's repaired and upgraded more tape echo units than you can possibly imagine!", the industry/manufacturing connections are there already. Curious if all the improvements actually makes it sound "better".
Why am I even commenting on this, I am so outside of the target market. This is a studio tool or something that goes on the road with a major band/someone who really loves tape echo. But kudos to whoever made it, looking forward to maybe hearing it on records/tours yet to come.

"In early spring 2019, we’ll be shipping version 2 of our Context reverb pedal. It has a full USB implementation, two independent reverb engines you can switch between, more tone controls and a couple more modes, and it’s smaller.”

Nah, yawn, "Chankgeez." That and their phase plugin are too light on mojo. I'm waiting on Avid to release a deluxe Dano bundle, so I can
Pepperoni and
Tuna Melt my phat beats.

Hype. Context still has maybe the best sounding algos of all the 'verbs on the market, imo. Just needed an expanded feature set to bring it into closer competition with the newer megaverbs.
