They threw a lot in the Swiss that is appealing for bigger rigs, namely the aby and the dual loops. I love the empress buffer+, and the Swiss seems to borrow heavily from the stereo buffer+, but the addition of the volume input is nice, even though the placement on the pedal isn’t.

It feels a lot to me like one specific guitarist's dream solution for their rig, but not really flexible enough to be the one true rig. It should have at least four or five loops, which should be switchable between buffered or true bypass and should be signal reroutable. Also, their selling point of "boxy and cumbersome so it doesn't take up the whole first row of your board" is baffling to me. A properly outfitted signal switcher is exactly what I want in my front row, because it'll end up getting 90% of my pedal presses. It looks cool, and I'm sure it'll be perfect for some people's needs, but the ES-5 is just soooo much better for my needs, and if I needed to operate in stereo or use a boost, it would probably make more sense to have separate boxes to accommodate those needs anyway.

I thought of the ES-5, too. Better flexibility and value proposition for my needs, since I want the additional flexibility and am looking for a MIDI controller solution anyway. I would definitely check out a Waza LS-2, though. Can’t believe the coolness of the original stayed off my radar for so long.

Yeah I think that thing is in a sorta no-man's land. Pretty cool in a lot of ways but I'd rather go simpler with something like the GigRig Quartermaster, or just go full-bore with a G2 or a RJM Mastermind PBC.

I'm still going for a pedal version of Magneto. :idk:

Isn't it based on El Cap though? Would be kinda weird for them to go from El Cap to Magneto then back again... unless they just had a pedal with a bunch of CV ins, which wouldn't make a ton of sense. Dunno!

The Echorec idea seems solid, as Strymon haven't gone there yet. From the buttons on that pic though, I'd venture to say it looks more Euro than pedal.

BUT, no reason to say those buttons couldn't be on a pedal, would totally be in line with the head selection on the Boonar.

Whoa, and they should rename it to Tremsby.

I wish I could get a vibrolas at some Fender prices though :(

I wonder how many more EQD pedals we'll see by WNAMM. They've got trademarks in the works for Plumes, Astral Destiny, and Xrax.

Plumes (dirt or multi-mode delay/glitch)

Astral Destiny (phaser or weird delay)

Xrax (still thinking DSP ring mod)
