I'm on the third floor of an old house converted to a duplex with a machete and an improvised hair spray can flame thrower. Gonna skewer amd flambe those hawks if they come near my windows. The wolves are on the second floor and the rats are a solid writhing mass in the only stair well leading up here. The first floor is my downstairs neighbors whose sacrifice will never be forgotten. You're never getting up here, you stupid fucking polar bears!

I feel like I have a lot of research to do and brackets to make. I'm going to need more graph paper and some juice boxes.

If you get a good roll, maybe he takes some strong ludes and takes a nap on a blanket of stampeding rats. Roll low...military grade amphetamines!

Hunter is more likely to
A) wildly fire hand guns at you
B) place a frozen elk heart in a brown paper bag on your porch and light off a full array of pyrotechnics

Either will get you killed

Editor's Note: What if "Hunter" is the wild card of the whole bunch. You could get something like a Winchester, or you could literally get a guy named Hunter.

I would pitch the idea of the Hunter leading up the opposing force and each side getting 3 choices. Then human destruction is like a game of capture the flag. It's not enough to defend, you still have to win. You can sort of break up the existing choices by classes:

Heavies - Low numbers, slow, high damage, high health. (Polar Bears, Gorillas)

Grunts - Medium numbers, moderate to high speed, moderate attack, medium health. (Wolves, Lions)

Swarm - High numbers, low attack/health drain, low health (Rats, Bats, Hawks)

Based on that system, the numbers would probably have to shift somewhat to even up, but picks in class that are weighted one direction or another would change the amount available. Hawks are somewhere in between Swarm and Grunts, so you'd get less than bats or rats. Lions are somewhere in between Grunts and Heavies, so you'd get fewer than Wolves. You could add some additional heavies with more power where you only get one or maybe two, that would really obliterate grunts (at a slooow pace), but they would probably be really ineffective against Swarms. You could use an additional group of Grunts comparable to Wolves in size and attack, maybe a little smaller and more vicious, that would be effective against a heavy with full numbers, but also more susceptible to being slowed by swarms and more easily killed one on one against bigger Grunts and Heavies. Pick from whatever class you want and stack your deck towards one end of the spectrum or another or keep it diverse.

Pitches for additions:

Heavy - Elephants, Rhinos

Grunt - Bobcats, Chimps

Swam - Crows, Feral Cats, maybe Bees?

requesting hippos be added as heavies.

Not seeing it with the Bob Cats unless the number is elevated

Can we add an aquatic category?
8 Dolphins
2 Great White Sharks
1 Orca

I feel like aquatic enemies only really post a threat if you're backed up against a body of water. Orcas can do that crazy dive/slide thing they use to fuck up seals, but I'm never going to be attacked by a great white shark, because I'm never going to get inside the ocean voluntarily.

You could end up in the ocean if 50 hawks picked you up, but they could just as easily drop you on pavement for the same result.

What if someone here is on a remote island so their end of this battle would kick off with someone having to come at them with boats?
Very unlikely,
I can accept the removal of Fully aquatic animals.

It feels more like an expansion pack. The new Feral Reef DLC. Keep an eye out for the zombie animals mod.

Maybe in areas with water you get a bonus marine animal to protect against aquatic threats

Maybe replace bobcats with cheetahs. Not necessarily a pack animal but that doesn't matter in this weird fictional scenario we've created.

This is acceptable, I had a friend get attacked by a bobcat once, he fended it off by himself and came to school the next day as I recall,
aquatic expansion pack....will wait for the release date.
