There's also a ring mod thread, which leads me to the conclusion that the answer must be Bitquest.

I know i'm super late on this thread, and i know i can sound boring, but i have to mention the Atmosphere by Dr. Scientist.
Hands down the best and most complete reverb in compact format IMHO.
Tons of unique modes, super immediate to set up but also with enough control if you want to go deeper (presets, assignable footswitches, momentary options) not to mention the LFO, which has tons of waveforms and can be assigned to all of the parameters - this feature has been really a game-changer for me, and it made me realize the practical use of LFO on a lot of things.
Seriously i never saw many people talking about it here except me and Jwar, i feel it went under the radar for many.

If i could change a thing about it i would be to have it stereo, which leads me to:

cheap and small sized stereo reverbs to place at the end of the signal chain? I already have the MS-70cdr, which is super complete - even if a bit cold, but i would like to have more immediate control (knobs).
Don't need any particular modes since i already have the Atmos for those, just want to give some ambience with stereo movement when i have the chance to use both amps.
I was thinking about a Boss RV-something, are there other significant "always-on" stereo candidates (small, maybe top-mounted jacks)?

What’s everyone’s favorite verb into a ton of heavy dirt? I was using a V1 Context but most of the Hi-Fi/Ambient verbs I’ve tried get washed out. I’m thinking a Ghost Echo, but I haven’t found much else. Running into a JCM 800 type deal with a Life Pedal and a TS into it tends to make reverb a little murky.

I used to looooove the Dr scientist rrr into all the dirt. It sounds amazing and not just like a mess like some verbs (a mess in a good way). Though I can't promise it's exactly the sound you're looking for, it's the best I've tried.

I had the DBA Reverberation Machine for a bit and it sounded really good before Muffs, not sure how it behaves with something more harmonically rich like a Rat+Octave like the Life Pedal..
I second the Dr. Scientist RRR too, same with the Atmosphere, tone control might help you find a sweet spot to keep the reverb consistent in all that mud.

It's old as fuck, but even with today's overflowing pedal market, I can't think of anything similar that combines delay + reverb that well and doesn't cost $200 :idk:
Have you used RV-6? Do you know how they compare? I really like the RV-6, and use that for delay+reverb.
I can speak on that , I have been very reliant on an RV-3 I'll never part with it but I just got the RV-6 from a trade, its amazing, they did a great job. the rv-6 reverb+delay mode is an analog sim so you can get totally different sounds covering the same ground as RV-3 in my opinion. the RV-3 which has a really characteristically digital delay (icy) but it blends nicely with its reverb . I would be happy with either

Bumping this thread because i had no answer a couple months back, maybe it's time to retry.

I'm looking for a simple, cheap and small sized stereo reverb to place at the end of the signal chain. I already have the MS-70cdr, which is super complete - even if a bit cold, but i would like to have more immediate control (aka knobs), plus the power draw of the zoom is too damn much (500mA).
I just want to give some ambience with stereo movement when i have the chance to use both amps.
I was thinking about a Boss RV-something, are there other significant "always-on" stereo candidates (small, maybe top-mounted jacks)?

Line 6 Verbzilla is stereo in/out and isn't expensive.

Been on a reverb tear again. Still my favorites are the Poly Digit and GFI Spectral Tempus.

Two less expensive alternatives I really dig are the Alexander Sky 5000 and the OBNE Dark Star V.2

However, I REALLY love my Zoom MS-70CDR once you spend a lot of time tweaking the algo's. Yeah it can be a bit cold, sort of (clean is probably a more accurate term) but where else can you have two reverbs and two delays and EQ in one patch?
Yeah, the 500ma is a bummer but unavoidable I think. You can always EQ and add dirt to be less clean/cold. It's the best deal in audio by far.
