Yes this is serious. Clarification needed.

Sooo...I have this doll designed by Joe Hahn, the DJ in Linkin Park. Bought it at his store in LA when I was there 10 years ago. He was one of my earliest electronic influences. I remember he had this wall of like 8 M-Audio Trigger Fingers, which I thought was the tits.

I sometimes get nostalgic and listen try to listen to their first couple of albums, but it always disappoints.

Yeah, it was called Suru on Melrose Ave. He did and probably still does, a lot of graphic design and stuff. The store had clothes and vinyl figures among other things.

Shameful confession: I saw RHCP in 2004, largely because my younger brother wanted to go. And I kinda enjoyed it.

...but QotSA and French Toast opened. French Toast is basically a Fugazi spinoff band, so I salvaged a little cred with those opening acts.

QotSA circa 2004 were fucking great.
And loaded with cred still.
I await your response and best defense, DoS.

SUMMONED

They were one of the loudest bands I've heard...all your clothes are flapping around, disorienting, &c. Yeah they were wonderful then, and Nick Oliveri was still in the band. It was barely on the rails.
