So here's one: I think the DD-500 is going to wind up being the pedal of the year for me.

Hell yeah!

Love always seeing the TB on your board, btw. And your praise for the Suneater helped sway me while I was searching the forum. I need to pick up an HM-2 again as well. lol
Being an influence feels better then it should! I need to get a regular Suneater again. I just wasn't using the oscillation switch and needed the space...

As far as Guitar gear I almost didn't change anything aside from leaving my HM-2 clone for an actual HM-2. For synths it was a fucking free for all, but now that I've decided to save and consolidate I've mostly sold and kept what I like the best and rebought things that I liked from long ago.
Bought and kept Stuff
Boss PS-2 x2
Boss HM-2
Boss RV-2
Beat up Peavey T-25
My old Nord Modular back
DSI Tempest back
Reon DriftBox SE
Serge panel stuff I gotta build
Squarp Pyramid
Sold Guitar stuff:
Dunwich HM-2 Clone
bought and sold synth stuff:
Too much MU stuff and maybe might sell all the big modular in the move
Sh-101
Juno 6
TR-606
Volca Sample
Space case tape echo (literally sold it the day I got it)
Space Echo Re-201
Nord Modular G2
MPC 60
honestly I don't know I can't even remember because I feel like I sold so much that I don't remember if I bought it this year or the last year. I just went on a wild frenzy sell-a-thon. I want money, not material positions at this point so Im selling and selling hard. I'm really interested in getting some boss pedals I've always wanted like an FZ-2 and PS-3 but that can wait.

I think the correct term is "timebenders". Once you own one, you are one.
Does that make us Compact Limboners?

FEWER CALORIES EXERTED PER THRUST MEANS MORE CALORIC ENERGY FOR LIFTING

Boner economy of efficiency.

Depends in the calories or the thrusts are the desired output i suppose. One could see how calories are the input to producing thrusts, but also how the thrusts are the input to lowering calories (which becomes the output). I fear economics is ill suited to answer this problem

Well all we're talking about is resources expended to achieve different outcomes, in any system that's economy.
It's not a thing I'd expect a Timbender to understand.
You gotta rep the Compact Limboners local 850ms.

Psssht. Bigger enclosure, ridiculous power supply, less features per control....they don't get.

In addition to my prev post w/list-
Pedal of The Year 2016: SS/BS Pretty Years. Part swiss army knife, part chemistry set, all rabbit hole.
Biggest flip regret: being-a-highly-motivated-seller & parting with the Gen Loss
Most revelatory acquisition: TubeTech pe1a.
I knew pultec-style equalizers did wonderful things to sound but hearing how they transform already-massive-bottom-end...wow
