I can't say ill of truly religious holidays. But the secular Easter traditions are pretty dumb. It's a placeholder secular holiday because there's a dull holiday-free period in the spring, right?
Now that I'm a dad, Father's Day is embarrassing. I love Mother's Day though.
I also like holidays that the parents might get off but kids still have to go to school, like Veterans Day.

Speaking of religion and father's/mother's day.
In church, mother's day is the day you tell mothers they're the best thing on earth and tell dads that they need to be better providers, father's day is the day you tell dads that they need to be better providers and that mothers are the best thing on earth.
My dad made a practice of never going to church on father's or mother's day.

i hate most holidays. when i have business to take care of it's usually a holiday so the bank or post office is closed and that drives me fucking nuts.

Duck is phenomenal. There is a duck place that I would visit more if driving there wasn't a chore.
