AHHHHH!! So it did drop, but I'm thinking of it backwards. That makes way more sense. Well, it's still down way more than it used to be, which is sad.

GBP has historically been the strongest unit of currency... at least throughout the 20th century. Even after this period of volatility I expect it will come out on top. The Euro on the other hand...not going to fare so well.

Depends on what happens after these trade negotiations upon exit (IF the new PM has the balls to file Article 50, which I'm honestly sceptical about. Don't be too surprised if there's a referendum to amend this one and remain) and what happens to both the EU and Britain at the next round of world trade meetings, G20 etc.
Plus you guys are gonna vote Trump in, so it's not like this alone will put the Western economy in the shitter.
Just wait for China to stop building shit, stop offering 20% over value for everything and start demanding more for their end and then we are all fucked for certain.

Yeah exactly, usually it makes more sense (for Americans) to think of how much you'd get in USD for the same 'amount' of currency: i.e. one pound is worth ~$1.30, one Euro is worth ~$1.10, one Canadian Maple Leaf-Printed photo of Mounties (or whatever their money is called) is worth ~77 cents.

One other thing I have found very funny: Most of the people I've talked to who seem to be very against the EU are the people who it affects the least.

Centralized power is always bad. Always. Always.
People are shitting their diapers over not much. Not the end of the world. This will be good for the UK.
Death to the Globalists.

Just walk away.

One nice way I've found to examine logical soundness: "Can it fit on a bumper sticker?"

With a goose on it.
