What features does the Electro-Faustus/Fuzzrocious have that the JPTR doesn't?

So the Deluxe Drum Thing has two controls (I'm not sure what though because they aren't listed. I'm assuming gain or fuzz and volume) and 3 springs.

The Fuzzrocious colab has 4 controls (standard Grey Stache controls), three springs and two extra controls. A swat switch and a Fuzz/Buzz switch.

So I mean...I guess the Fuzzrocious is literally the two pedals combined, and maybe that's why it's a higher price.

Yeah, two pedals in one'd account for a higher price.

Which features do you want? Do you need one of these things complete with a Grey Stache in it? Or would the DDT be enough to satisfy your boner?

I mean. I just want it to run with my bass well and kick (gently) the springs every once in awhile. I also want to mod it line UC did his so it's easy to use my foot on the springs.

So I guess less features is fine. I wonder if he'd customize it a bit. Maybe I'll shoot a email over.

Is it just me, or is it a bit weird that Jptr has a box called the Drum Thing which is quite similar to the Blackfly? I mean, obviously neither invented spring-based instruments, just the name thing seems odd.

Edit: Because Electro-Faustus has another box called the Drum Thing, that is.

Does anyone actually own any jptr stuff? I bought a bunch of them to sell here in the us and Canada to save on the broker few and shipping. They shipped last week I should have them in another week or 2 I'm guessing.

Electro-faustus mentioned that on their facebook a while back. I think it is weird, but could be wholly coincidental or maybe not . (Feb 8th)
