I'm a 35-year old bitter, depressive misanthrope, I'm pretty sure I won't like, reassess Silverstein because a 20-something thinks they're on par with Sinaloa.

I feel like I'm just derailing here, someone please post some tough-guy hardcore so I can feel like a man.

Both Silverstein and Sinaloa are not very good. Silverstein sucks, actually (file under "Pleb mallcore not true emo in the slightest" as per SPACERITUTAL's signature quote from me LOL) and Sinaloa...? That's your go-to screamo band...? Their best thing was their split with Ampere.

But if you feel like we're digressing

Hey everyone,

how 'bout some Nardcore?

:poke: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

(even though we already have)

(just realized Brandon Cruz is from my hometown! I always wondered why he came and played so often...I just thought it was because we were close and had a high percentage of punks even though he only lived there for 2 months)

Silverstein I have never liked, Sinaloa was just a random example, but they are/were good, tr00 fact. And I don't consider them screamo. I'd wager I'm at least as knowledgeable about that stuff as you claim to be.

Why do we even bother with you :picard:

How is 4/4 pop punk with metalcore vocals better than some real skramz?

Yo ignore doesn't work for me if you guys keep quoting old mate. NEGATIVE WAVES MAN.

(Sinaloa were fucking great. When footprints on floorboards came out it was an absolute breath of fresh air in that scene).

Ah, I forgot that we're judging music by its time signature now.

Alexisonfire is post-hardcore, and in Canada, they're legends. I'm Canadian and I don't hold any heavy bands from up here in higher regard. No show goes harder than a good AOF show. Super nice dudes too... great dynamic between George, Wade, and Dallas's vocals. Fuck why do I even bother with you. Oh yeah, you like Science amps.

Again, it's the melodic hardcore... the melodies, the songwriting. Got damn

I don't claim to be, I am. But also I believe you, you're one of the people on ILF I sort in my "Real emo peeps" category LOL
