^ Whole movie in black and white without dialog just the rest of the audio -- which is, according to the guy that made it, the best way to see the movie. Pretty fun.

I watched some the other night, like previews of it. it looks classy as fuck.

Yeah it's cool. Obviously it doesn't look like a 'real' black and white movie since it wasn't lit to be in that format, but it's a nice way to appreciate it (and the dialog is pretty arbitrary anyway).

overall it is but I still enjoy it. I like that it's not like some newer action movies that are books of dialogue cause they have to explain everything to the viewer via the characters talking to each other about shit they should all clearly should know or they have the clueless one that is placed in there basically as the stand in for the viewer.

i was reading the mad max wiki with the detailed backgrounds of all the characters of all the films that george miller had written up for each movie prior to filming.

which is also makes me appreciate the film more that there is all this background information that doesn't have to be put out there and explained for a 3rd of the movie.

I don't get why people identify with the war boys. They're the biggest suckers in the movie. I guess they demonstrate a fun kind of nihilism...
