completely missed this...but i would express my interest too...can we get t-shirts, patches and stickers along with the compilation?

I figured someone would post "hey, are we doing this? My band / experiment just recorded something for it if it's going to happen.". And then others would mention upcoming recording, and then probably someone would ask how to submit a track...

I'm doing QC, conky is doing the CD pressing. Same place might do stickers? I have a friend that does patches and t-shirts locally, so that's entirely feasible.

I am literally recording my track this sat.


Edit: don't know why I used literally like it was supposed to be used any other way. Basically i'm finally recording for Yzordderrex's new album and I can easily roll in the song I planned for this with it. so hopefully i can track the song sat, and do the vocals the following week.

Does the song need to be an original track for the comp?

I think what we decided overall is do what you think feels right. I'm doing original material. I always value original material far more than covers. but that's me.

I'd like very much to do this, but with the current state of flux as it it, it'd be a while, maybe we can get in on vol2?

I think if we want to press anything we should do originals only.

there's time to get them originals written and recorded. I'm just able to since I'm already tracking an album and it's a lull between drum tracking for other bands.

Sorry, not covers. Like reusing songs we may have already released. My band has a single we put out a couple months ago that could work on a comp. Just didn't know if the songs had to be written and recorded expressly for this project.

Oh I think that's fine, cause you released it digitally didn't you? Who cares about digital releases. that means nothing compared to a physical one.
