I don't really think it matters what the other users are doing with their hands. Whether it's their dicks or their guitars in their hands. What's the hassle either way. If people don't like what is being posted then scroll past. I'm totally against censorship and this whole political correctness crap. People are just too hyper sensitive these days. I do see your point. Perhaps a bad taste and smut thread might be in order. I do understand everyone's points of view. I'm just against people always trying to force rules on everyone else. I grew up in a fundamentalist religious household where freedom of any kind was prohibited. I guess I have totally rebelled against it.

OK, but for the sake of argument, why do *you* get to draw the line at racist and homophobic? I agree those things are shitty and shouldn't be posted here, but the denigration of women isn't my favorite thing to scroll past, on any forum. I am not saying it is constant here, by any means, but it is here. When someone calls it out, we get knocked for being too sensitive, but if something racist goes up, everyone is quick to distance themselves from it immediately.

And you said it better than I could. I love this place and want as many people to enjoy ilf. I don't see why misogyny and objectification of women should make the cut. I realize this place is likely 90% straight white dudes but we want all fuzz lovers here. So shouldn't we be just as inclusive and welcoming to women and people who don't identify as male? I feel like the just ignore it response when we're dealing with a widespread problem that people of some identities/communities deal with every day isn't valid. People want to participate to the fullest extent in this forum and can't if they have to block a bunch of people just because a small percentage of what those people post is offensive or triggering.

I've found ILF to be an extremely welcoming community to everyone who isn't an asshole but we can always improve.

I'd also like to not see men with raging hard-ons either.... I agree that we should be focusing on pedals / guitars / amps and the related here, not objectifying the human body (and also not trying to hide from our company IT crew), but we should also apply it to both sides of the fence. Just to play devil's advocate, arguments against allowing NSFW content shouldn't apply to just one gender / identity.

I personally think we should keep it clean of anything that might cross the line as offensive to anyone, there's absolutely no need for it. And as stated previously if you really wanna go see some free T&A, there's more than enough free sites out there full of it.

So just open a new anything goes forum next to the Shark Tank called "The Eagles Nest", make it a thousand dollars a year to subscribe and get access to it, use the proceeds to pay for ILF hosting costs, and let that help segregate the assholes.

I kinda don't want there to be a NSFW section of this board period. I'm all for a certain level of crazy, and I think we've found that balance in the everyday threads that you see around the site. I think adding a section of the site purely for smut is just asking for trouble and creates a scummy image for this place that I'm not comfortable with. I invite people here all the time in my circle of music friends and I would feel weird if next the the shark tank there was a "fap nest" or something similar. And on top of that, I don't see the relevancy of having a NSFW section on a board that's main focus is guitar effects and music. There are other completely free options out there for seeing kinky stuff, I would suggest anyone interested in that sort of thing go there.

Thats my two cents anyway. Hope no one got mad.
