Can't think of an action movie with good music.
Grunge was for pussies not man enough to be twee.
That is all.
This is so. Real dudes dudes hate grunge cuz it killed hair metal and they had nothing to listen to until Korn and Nickelback and the Disturbed came along.

It was all the same to me... I was a GrungeGazer before there was such an awful term... I saw Verve and Pearl Jam and Jesus and Mary Chain and Soundgarden and Medicine and Screaming Trees all in the same year...

I mean I like Boards of Canada and the other Warp bands as much as the next guy, but grunge has distort-tones.

Bahh! synta sizers don't need dirt boxes(they do add fun to it though)
Its funny how there are fx boxes for making your guitar/bass sound like a synth. They just square the signal up like a square wave from a synth and go through a filter, which OMG!!!!!! is also in a synth

Except for the past several years it's been nothing but that goddamn envelope filter!

fucking Soundgarden.
NO THANK YOU.
they're still better then tool though...
i..... guess?
that's like saying a little rectal bleeding while pooping out saracha laced food is better than having a gangerous taint rubbed on your face?
neither's really something i want to be a part of.
BRING IT SECHSY DOSEY.
Late to the party as usual, just checking in with you nerd-boners to see what is cool to hate on the week. Apparently liking any Grunge that was played by the larger media outlets earns you the crown of lame. Just to be clear,TAD and the Melvins are still OK and pre-Nevermind Nirvana are borderline. OK, I think I got it.
Hey Bendy, I'm curious to find out why you think listening to Tool is like "having a gangerous taint rubbed on your face"? I thought your bass stylings/band were a Tool homage?

MTV
ruled when it dabbled in all types of (fcc-approved) counterculture, before it became mainstream caricature Lifetime Jr.
Does
Reservoir Dogs count as an Action movie?
Pulp Fiction? Kill Bills? Fight Club?
Do scores count?
Predator is badass in that regard...
And Nirvana's catalog is better than any Twee band's.
If you want to see the nail-in-the-coffin moment for over-indulgent arena rock hair metal and goofy buttrock, then watch the 1992 MTV VMAs.

I BLAME MY DRUMMER. HE LOVES TOOL.
i.... don't hate thrm? i just don't get them or listen to them. same with grunge really. i heard some Nirvanner coming up, the rest just sounds like low energy crap rock? just not sunmpin' i'm into i guess?
