i went to your portland once, but i was on tour so it was a blur and i didn't get a feel for it, so it doesn't count. really pretty around there though.

Yeah, I've got homies as far south as San Diego, so I definitely want to drink my way up the west coast at some point.

Yeah some day I want to do it. Good to know your friend's thoughts, too! But my friends going said they'll bring me back some Pliny the Elder and other stuff so not all is lost. The Elder was badass the one time I've had it and that was an older bottle so I'm excited to try a fresher one.

I like this one called Bourberry. It's 2 cl bourbon, 3 cl Kahlúa and about 5 cl cranberry juice.

I also really like bourbon+coke, manhattan, old fashioned, white russian and black russian.

That sounds really interesting... I'll have to give it a try.

So I did try it, and it was pretty good. Cherry flavor with a little bit of smokey coffee flavor. Nom.
