yeah i see that point. I'm always curious what DE pedals people use. A few seem cool but so many of them seem the same to me. (not to derail the current discussion).

i've had a bunch of her stuff i wanted to like, but it all sounded poo on bass. the OK is one i always really liked 82% of.

No way someone big (DOD, EHX, MXR) is taking it on. That would be a PR nightmare.

Devi Ever/E13 was, to my memory, the first small company that built pedals that married being outside the box (i.e. the big box of what you could buy at ze local brick + motar) with being as affordable and, you know, as available for purchase as Boss or EHX.

just googled the Anita Sarkeesian. THERE'S the Devi Drama i haven't seen here for awhile.

i'm not trying to be a dick, but it always seemed to me her pedal stuff started to go downhill when she started focusing more on being angry about things than making cool new interesting loot. doessssssn't seem to bode well to try to break into a new industry starting like that.

There's a whole lot in Devi's approach that makes her seem sort of perpetually 17.

In a lot of ways, I think that the company was more primed for success before the advent of things like twitter.

Doesn't seem like it would have ever worked out if the original goal to develop the Console was 20k and she spent 20k (half of the 40k) developing it :\
