Let me clarify by stating I meant this thread needs more boobs in general. Not specifically fbg's boobs.

Late to the party, but what was so controversial about Fuzz Box Girl to begin with?
Also, pegging, FUCK YES

people--amusingly, preponderantly MALES--had a snit about the early FBG stuff which sometimes used borderline-racy images, e.g. a naked woman's lower body seated spread-legged with a strategically sited Big Muff. the sexy/sexist dialectic has been gone over REPEATEDLY. frankly, i think the real issue was that the boys felt disadvantaged because the attention of the predominantly male guitar user base was more easily captured by an attractive-sounding woman or/and that guys feel threatened when a woman can out-play them. my bottom line is, to me her demos are often quite useful, often moreso than those from the PGS/Prymaxe/SnakeskinBootDude axis.

I'm not sure I completely agree with your take on it, dubs. Any way you slice it, a woman trying to get in on a predominantly male dominated game is going to have a hard time (TWSS). I think it was in the way she went about it. I don't mind gimmicks, almost everybody has one. Her's was just a little bit too much of a gimmick though, at first it almost seemed like it was a joke. It's not my thing, but then again, especially when it comes to "demos", most things aren't my thing.

well, sure, it's a gimmick, or perhaps more accurately a schtick; i also think it is a tongue-firmly-planted-in-cheek sort of joke. i just think it's no more irritating than, e.g., the GearManDude demos, which also feature an invented character. you could argue that PGS Andy is an invented character to some extent.

If PGS Andy is an invented character, he's the most boring character ever invented.
