-~My thoughts~-

Barbershop
+ good for low to mid gain drive tones
+ a shit load of volume
- them jacks are awkward as fuck with right angle cables

Four Eyes
+Damn fine fuzz sound
+This is the coolest filter I've ever used on a pedal.
- I'd maybe prefer a resonance knob, but that's only a minor complaint

Unpleasant Surprise
+Don't you change a damn thing about this pedal

Randy's Revenge
+From my limited experience with ring mods, this is probably my favourite
+That's a sexy LPF
-I think the sin wave could stand to be beefed up a bit
-I would maybe consider adjusting the sweep of the tune pot, my ham fists had trouble tuning it to the pitch I wanted

Operator!?
+Yep, that's a feedback looper.

Come to papa.........before my five babies come home to papa.....

Hahaha. But really. We're expecting to get the quints home in late Nov so the timing of this is PERFECT for me. Going to be hard to beat your review, though, Bob. :thumb:

US demo sounds cool. Yeah the RR is hard to dial. I think a fine tune knob would be great, because that sweep is the biggest I've ever experienced in a pedal. Usuallly there's a spot where the sweep doesn't do anything but this is side to side and ever cm is different. Love the ability but would like to be able to dial it in a little easier. If I were to accidentally kick that knob it'd take me too long to get it back to the place I wanted it to be really...but damn it sounds great.

Tourbox received!

Unfortunately, my wife just got back in (she's been in Houston for over three months) so we're spending the night together and then tomorrow I'm off to Houston for my weekend trip to see the babies. So I'll be all over this Sunday night.

In cool news, my wife comes in and, I've been avoiding sugary things so I haven't bought candy in a few months, starts complaining there's no chocolate in the house (true story). I open the tour box to find Bob the Rob tucked away some nice candy bars in there for me.

Saved. :thumb:

The pedals should all be in the Tx with THEavondon. I loved them. Awesome stuff. Didn't really get to use the Operator?! at all. I dunno. Just couldn't figure out the feedback loop. The only pedals I have now are fuzzes and they really didn't do anything with it. I'm running all of my other effects through a laptop now and, with the five kids and all, just never got time to get the entire rig set up and try them out. And since I'm running this rig.....I don't have an expression pedal. So I miss out on all that stuff. :(

OK. Clips. So. My setup is:

Status S2-Classic
Glockenklang Blue Soul
fEARful 15/6/1

Randy's Revenge
I honestly didn't think I was going to like this thing. I LOATHE ring modulators. When all the hype came out for this pedal I was just all PSSSSSSSH. And when I first cranked it up, I was still kinda like that. But then I started getting to the really subtle stuff. And oh man. I fell in love. The first half of the clip is all the crazy ring mod stuff you'd expect from a ring mod. The second half, I'm basically using the RR as a white noise generator to flavor up my riffs. Holy wow is it awesome. Wish I had an expression pedal to try stuff out of it.

Unpleasant Surprise
So. I guess I need to put a disclaimer here saying that this was already one of my all time favorite fuzzes. I'm a bit sad I'm in between parallel loopers at the moment (have a new MSLP one on the way) so I wasn't able to get the sounds I totally LOVE from this guy (running it in one loop with an OD signal parallel). I also kinda feel a blender or something that allows a clean blend into this baby is a must for bass players using it. Otherwise, again, one of my favorite fuzzes of all time. Enjoy.

Four Eyes
I kinda feel like this is the one that I really missed out on the most, not having an expression pedal. I still tried to get all of the sounds out of the pedal for a demo. Really cool guy. LOTS of fun sounds.

Barbershop
Not really much to say. Great sounding OD. Lots of range. Enjoy the clip.
