That would be awesome. The 2880 had a lot of cool stuff going on with it.
If they're making a new one, I should put mine on ebay now. Fools are paying like $600-$700 for 'em.

i'm happy w/ my dual DL4s. reverse & half/double time are both awesome. do miss my RC-50 though...
electrix repeater is pretty badass too. huge loop lengths & four tracks.

What's your set-up for your dual DL4's? I've been curious to try that.

i'm still switching things around all the time, but i always use them next to each other in the chain, usually at the end w/ reverb after so there's still some drift after killing the loops or right towards the beginning if i'm just recording a loop so i can mess with effects while not playing. since it'd be impossible to get the two to keep time with each other usually one's just a drone or background sounds. that's what i kinda miss about the RC-50, multiple tracks keeping time. plus its cheesy onboard drum tracks were actually fun.

Crazy. So you run them in series? I've been thinking about trying a parallel set-up.

yeah, you can get even crazier with doubling / halving speeds that way. record a loop in the first, double it, record that on the second, double it. or vice versa. CRAZY.
gibson echoplex is another i wish i could land. hate their $.

SPECIAL ILF PRICE FOR MINE!!! $800... That's cray man... I really love it though, shoulda bought two when I got mine for $300 with the foot controller...
I've been making sounds on the Opus using all three sections then recording like 7 minutes of 1 note four times then playing them back like an additive organ... GREAT DRONES... Really that's all I do with it now...

I see everybody talkin about the Flashback and the Ditto so I made a Loop... I pushed record and played it all live, it's three sloppy layers... I played it then listened of to it once then overdubed then just let it play till fade out... I like Loopers for Sunday Funday Loops like this and the Flash worked fine sooo... I tried to use pedals most of us have... Just a 2 min jam, I made about 11 of these while messing with the order and which Dirt I wanted to use...
Yalls Turn...

I added some Power Crystals for Flow...

As far as live use, mostly I will loop some swells and make a bunch of ambient washes and stuff as what has become sort of an intro to our set. I also will use it when i'm working on song ideas to see how things piece together. I'm slowly getting better and better at timing-based loops and being able to record them accurately and then use the one-shot function to keep it in time with our drummer.

I got the Shitari in the mail today so I hooked it up to the board from last night and made some loops... All sounds are Shitari > RRR > Flachback > El Cap > Barcus Berry Pre > Korg D3200 with the Jazzmaster plugged in on the ground but untouched... I messed with the Shitari knobs and then sampled some loops on the Flashback... All live one take, I could play this guy for days... Tom is a Wildman, thanks Bloo...
