That's a good plan. I only happened upon all this because I wanted to see how people were finding their Silver Rose. In the whole thing, there is a single post about this, and lots of other shit. It should at the very least be renamed so that maybe a new thread about the actual pedal can resume.

I'd also rather discuss the Silver Rose than the drama surrounding it. What I hear most in all the demos is the Super Fuzz's octave multiplier.

They chimed in a bit later on with:

muttlegs wrote:Started this thread and took the plunge on this badboy and got one and have to say it is brilliant.
Arrived this morning and had a couple of hours with it so far but already I can tell its the one for me.
To give you a flavour of the bands I like: Pavement, Mudhoney, Dino Jr, Sonic Youth, Polvo, SP, Pixies etc.
My 3 year old big muff always has a generic EHX muff sound that sounds great but can get lost in the mix.
All the dials on this baby such as blend, presence, clean etc allow you to find loads of useful adjustments without laming out the tone and allowing you to sonically position it exactly where you want.
The build quality is great and the layout/controls intuitive. Footprint not a problem.
With the combination of IC muff and Superfuzz I feel this and my RAT do the job for me now.
Spot on! Truly great!

Which is awesome.

I'm very interested in the clean blend actually, as with a violin, feedback will generally be an issue so having the clean on top of the fuzz might allow for some interesting textures, and as Mudfuzz wrote a while back, you've got the opportunityto blend two distinct fuzzes, which timbrally, somewhere in between might lie the perfect tone for tthe fiddle.

Also, something as harmonically dense as two blended fuzzes meeting something as harmonically dense as a violin...

Might get swampy.

I like you. You either like everything I like or own everything I might possibly one day like. Either way, yeah.

I know I am new here and all... but you got a refund and a free pedal and you are still bitching???? I think the drama moniker is misplaced here.. IMHO.

back on topic, I will wait patiently for mine in Nov, if the funding goes through..

Ah, ignore it man. And it's not so much the bitching.it's just... ah. Ignore t. We all should've.

I think it will go through, in only a couple days it hit a fifth of it's mark, and many, like yourself, are just still saving until they can kick in.

re-read the thread. no one is still bitching. I've confirmed solace in my last post since the olive branch was offered. I think you're reading too much into this.
anyhow I guess I'm gonna be awaiting this pedal now too, yet the new absence of a deadline will mess up any sort of eagerness, i'm bemused. It'll have to be a pleasant surprise from the postman one day.
I'm not too comfortable about 'full refund' & 'free pedal', but I'll pay it forward, karma is good like that.

I love clean blend. parallel effects through a mixer, either through aux channels, or buss' make for lots of fun. having a blend built into a pedal increases the functionality tenfold imho. bass', drum machines and synths love that shit :!!!:

I am still around just been working to pay for pedal (and my rent!). The problem with this site is it offers too much temptation (I just preordered a black forest fuzz...must stop...)
Really enjoying using the Silver Rose. It seems like I am still one of the only people with one of these things so far. I am sure if you have a Superfuzz and a IC muff you may be used to these sounds but before this I had a basic NYC muff and a skreddy muff (as well as my RAT). Everybody has different tastes but the IC Muff sound is great to me and the Fu Manchu fan in me likes wants the Superfuzz. The mixer offers more options. Univox superfuzz and more recently EHX IC Muffs are pretty expensive these days. So this fits the bill. A keeper. Will always have one.

Great to hear chief. Glad you're enjoying your pedal, and hope all else is well. Welcome (back) to the forum!

Devi Ever is a fucking asshole. His/her pedals suck. He/she sucks. Never associate my name and his/hers ever again. Pig. Ugly pig. He also called me homosexual bald piece of shit fucked by Reznor

devi ever : fx He blew me off enough times that I was sick of it... posted about it in Netphoria and apparently he got wind of it. Real classy him trying to degrade me like that because of my trans status. Only confirms my suspicions of what a low life he's become.

wtf?
