Re: What did you get for Christmas thread!!!
I'll consider these presents to myself since I got them a few days before Christmas and they were dirt cheap. After dropping off a bunch of stuff at my local Goodwill store I took a quick walk through, usually don't find too much other than an old clock or 2, but this time I ended up with a few tasty treats, at least to me. All for $12, made my holiday.
A Casio MT540. Great cond, looks like it was never played. Just a toy but has some nifty voices, drums and a bunch of cheesy special effects to play around with. Also has Midi which I guess is good but doesn't really mean anything to me.

An SK1, seen better days, sans B key. Might be a rare Custom Shop Relic? eh, never liked the stupid B key anyway. Always wanted to pick one of these up. Cool feature is the sampling. Also nifty for circuit bending, but not my thing. I'm still having a blast with it tho, 8 bit all the way.

And to top it off, found a few presents for the turntable....

Was given money, which I spent on a Blu-ray player, which cost £89 (god bless Argos!) once the shops opened up again.
I also had a bunch of Comedy DVDs, including Dara O Briain's "This is the show" and Bill Bailey's "Dandelion Mind"
And a new Wallet, something I needed. It's a nice wallet as well.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Hmm...this may end up being a long list (One perk of having a big family ,I suppose?)
(in no particular order, except the first, which was really special)
A t-shirt handpainted by a friend from church, with a picture of Jesus playing a guitar that looks like mine
Despicable Me 2-DVD box-set (more of a 'whole family gift' from parents)
Hard Rain DVD (am I the only person who thinks this movie is actually good?..I get razzed alot for liking it)
Push DVD (Same here...)
Kansas Live: Know Place Like Home DVD
a whole bunch of CD's, none of which are particularly fuzzy
sorry guys.
2 glass slides (one heavy walled for acoustic, one thin for electric)
a jaw harp (didn't ask for this...not sure where the idea came from..but I may try to play it this weekend..)
A Gordian's Knot 3D puzzle-cube
a game for the xbox360 and one for the Wii...
I think that's everything
And yes, I realize that some of you are wondering why I didn't get the pedal I've been hoping for...well I'm waiting to use leftover graduation money for that...
And I'm holding out atleast until Autopilot's two new pedals are available, so I can check those out before I decide on something...
