It's actually a Gibson RD without the Moog electronics and stuff and the orange is a 73 OR120. Actually I just paid 400 dollars after completely burning the shit out of my orange somehow. Literally they said it was never seen before. Funny enough the transformers were perfectly fine.

Sorry dude, I got my wires crossed on my obscure Gibos. I slept on the couch with the cat last night. When I say slept, i mean "slept". It was fucking cold.
I thought it was an or, but I'm on my iPad and the resolution is a bit shit. Can you answer my gain question from before?

Fuck that RD is sexy!

Always loved the basses after seeing/hearing Nick from Young Widows deliver the most badass tonez from his but the guitars are speaking to me on numerous levels. Been busy discovering and loving Ghost lately and they rock a pair of 'em. Sound so good and styling is pure evil! Yet classy. That wood finish you have going on is esp cool!

Falling in hopelessly in love with those guitars...

Fucking sick dude!!! :doom:

This! Sounds incredible, whatcha using to get that weird guitar sound early on? Or was that bass? Tone when the song kicks in is CRUSHING, love your guy's sound so much!

Thanks dude! The sound the beginning is my Maxon phaser and a touch of delay. Love the combo of 'em. And thanks for the kind words! I'm really excited to finish up the new album and share it with everyone. Shooting for early '14.

1978 The Paul in fairly good condition w/ HSC for 650. Hit it? I shouldn't. Really shouldn't. I'll have to sell my tele if I do. But HNGGGGGGGGGGGG.

So I took the BC, Elements, and Dunwich boost off the board last night before practice too see if I could fit just the skhammer, timeline and space on the board. Turns out it barely fits but it does!

Image

And then I jammed on it  The only thing I miss is the clean tone the boost provided me, but at the same time without it slamming the preamp the delay and verb are much clearer. And my base clean tone is still great, just missing that tiny bit of hair the boost provided. Either way the board sounds great and even the band asked me what I did as it sounded so much better at practice. So that sealed my previous dirt sections fate, they'll be up in the BST soon. Just an FYI dibs has been called on the BC!

sorry AA
i say do it
when im actually all strapped in to my guit
and i feel the slightest bit of uncomfy
or the neck is to thick or too shiny
or its heavy or the neck dives
i think of that the paul i tried out
it was everything i wanted a guitar to be
the size and weight of the japanese guits
but with gibson quality guts

i forgot your aussie pope
you guys down there
got a different idea about averages
everything is compared to mel gibson, no
hes the national average
and if you dont stack up
they feed you to the sharks

Yeah actually I got the RD like maybe 6 months ago after I saw it on ebay going for less than I usually see them at on a buy it now price. I didn't know how I felt about it originally because I actually wanted an explorer but after owning it for a while the look and playing feel has definitely won me over. Honestly my guitar/amp/cab combo is definitely at it's finest at the moment for me. All 70's flair. Before I saw ghost, all I ever got about my guitar was "Hey where'd you get that, it's the guitar from ghost" I was thoroughly confused as I thought they meant the Patrick Swazye movie.

So I tried the Walrus Audio Iron Horse which I guess is a rat clone and it sounded perfectly sludge with none of the high end fizz of my rat. I might have just found a rat replacement.

Dude.... sooo jelly. I've wanted an RD (both guitar and bass) for a long time now but they usually go for such ridiculous prices. You def got quite the rig there my friend!

Dude funny enough if I recall, I had posted about it here. You were the one that told me to sell my old LP studio to fund this.

Even though it's a very doomy rig, I always end up playing in math rock bands. Hopefully one day I'll get my dream of making some sort of sludgey mathy electronic noise thing.

DUUUUUUDDDEEEEE!!! Now I remember!!! Hey, I'd much rather see math rock through that rig, then a 5150 into a marshall cab with an ESP guitar through a tubescreamer..... :picard:

For realz, around where I live we have a ton of those goons unloading that exact rig so they can afford there pop-punk/emo rig since it seems to be the new hot thing round these parts. Honestly I have doom/sludge to thank in my hopes to get gear such as this.

Thank you Doomed God.
