Yes. It's by the same original designer now working independently. The first 9 presets on the Future Impact emulate the presets on the Deep Impact (I never owned a DI, but the demos I heard sounded dead on). Great tracking and sounds, build quality is a little wonky---many people have complained about that, it's a little overstated IMO.

I am humbled to receive 7 votes on a board that should have got zero simply for being undermatched in the category it was in. Likewise, I received zero votes in another category that I thought would kill. That's how it goes.

This contest will likely shape some future pedal decisions. Many boners over the small boards are making me think about downsizing. Might have to adopt a new gain pedal in the process and the hivemind is making me look hard at a Mini. And the Buzzz. And the Super Oscillo 88 fuzz. And...So many.

Congrats to all the well deserving winners. Lots of great boards this year.

So sorry to cause all the heartache among ilf members. Yeah. I'm a "new guy" that entered bilf. I did it, because a long time ilf member made a big speech how wonderful place ilf is, and how everybody should hang out here. If you guys dont want new members, all you need to do is just say it. I dont want to crash anyone's party.

Bilf itself was fun, and trying to decide what boards were best, made me see my own board a little differently. Congratulations to winners.
