If it was a third of the price id jump on, id even think about it for half the price but im looking at it and thinking "
you know i could pick up a 412f and an 1820 peavey cab for that and maybe have some left over for a Vulcan

Yea I know. It's just not cheap enough to really warrant the gamble. Hell I picked up well over half my stuff for less than what he's asking.

I just picked up an old Peavey Standard, an old Ampeg bt25l and an ibby smash box for less than half that in total, cool old cheap gear GAS FTW

My local CL is going nuts with overpricing stuff. Old Beta Lead? $750. Sunn 1200s? $1250.

fallen... jesus fuck that's insane. I have noticed the beta leads haven't been coming up on ebay as often as they did in the previous 2 years but goddamn that's still way too much.

Yeah seriously what the fuck is up with that.
I'm actually looking for a decent amp that has enough volume for shows but everything is overpriced and nobody responds to offers lower than what they are asking.

Well it's not like the Beta Lead is selling. He just keeps re-posting it at that price every couple of weeks hoping that someone will cave.
CL is a cesspool at times. A lot of dreamers just posting up ads with no basis in reality.
