Yeah, you could have some rough man-sex on that bed, alright.
You'd have to move that pickup, though. unless you wanted to get rough with it, give it that "weathered" look.

Ok, I'm done now.
Do I want Tung Sol or EHX 12ax7s?
I do love my Tung Sols, but it would be nice to try something different...
Nobody even suggest JJs. Seriously.
WWPD?

Congratz again on the new job!!! and welcome to Nesting.... Things you never thought she would want you to do, will be getting done. I'm there myself, luckily I'm on the tail end.

Thanks! Yeah - didn't realize how hard nesting hits men. There has been a pretty lengthy list of projects that my wife wanted done over the past year and I have had zero interest in doing that shit until now. I'm fixing shit. Painting shit. Organizing shit. I literally took everything down and painted our closet to match our room because the wifey wanted it done. Painting closets is a bitch and a half.

Still need to put up fans in the other bedrooms, organize/clean the garage, mulch, fix the squeaky kitchen sink, etc etc. Of course I am going to paint the baby's room too - pink with a glitter clear coat over it. Doom. As. Fuck.

Yeah dude it definitely hits men the hardest. The wife wants everything perfect by the time the baby arrives and makes a long ass list of stuff they want, but because they are preggo they can't do any of the stuff on the list so they expect you to do it. and at their pace and within their timeframe  Shit that didn't matter worth a damn 6 months ago all of a sudden becomes a dire emergency, its the funniest thing.

I've got a long list of stuff to do myself, I've been knocking it out day by day and I know I won't be done by the time the baby gets here (mainly due to financial constraints). But I'm doing my best and thats usually what matters most to them.

Since I'm not teaching this summer it works in my favor since I'm already used to spending a few hours on weekend days working. Although I do need a couple of weekends where I just watch tv and play guitar and day drink before the baby arrives

You. Shut your mouth and get your phd

Never asked - what do you want to do for a living once you're done? Teach and research or go into the private sector? Or will Dunwich become a full time job and that point? Dr. Nick. Dr of the toanz.

You and I both know how that's probably going to work out. I do have a fighting chance since the wife is a nurse and has to work some weekend shifts.

Get a job in PhD EE nanoscale work.

Dunwich has 2 possible futures.

1. Taper down to part time hobby with no active building for customers

2. Create team of people to run and manage Dunwich where I just run it from the top of the pyramid.

Depends where you live ya know. Cheaper in some areas. Taxes are high here tho, we have some of the largest taxes on stuff like gas and housing compared to other states.

I would definitely go rural, I like my trees and privacy. And I'm used to high taxes, I live in a commonwealth. :picard:
