Unfortunately not, because the signal being sent to the cab is an insanely hot signal, it would fry the hell out of the mixing board. You would need an attenuator (power soak) to bring that signal down to a good DI level.

Yeah, I just bring my mic, stand and xlr cable to the gig, and hand the sound guy my cable. I haven't had one give me shit about it yet. Most soundguys want to DI the bass instead of mic it out of lazyness, not because of sound properties. If you do all the work for them, they're usually fine with it.

isnt there DI boxes you can stick between your amp and cab?

The Radial JDX is the only one I know about. I haven't personally tried it, but I know I've seen it mentioned on TB a few times.

yah. i'm just going to bring a Beta52, stand and cable to gigs. i've listened to me being DI'd whilst playing a wireless and it's ok, but the fuzz sounds like eye searing poo.

like rubbing sand into your eyes. then when they're getting good and abraded rubbing poop into them. but poop from somebody that ate like a gallon of Icy Hot and a diarrhetic so they're steamy butt soup is loaded with PAIN.

I did mess up my e-mail... I decided to e-mail him just in case and he was super fast to respond. Looks as if the enclosures and very close to being done so expects a week or two until they'll be ready to ship. He also said to check twitter and Facebook for updates.

Oh no. I'm keeping the tweetered fella. The tweeterless one is the guy getting flipped.

Tweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeters! Speaking of which... I have mine turned down low because I'm afraid I'm going to blow them. I've read so much stuff saying different things about fuzz and tweeters I don't know what to believe.

Fuzz just sounds crappy through tweeters, that is all.
