STAY AWAY!!!!! Google "Ampeg VL-1002 Molex Connector problem" I LOVED and I mean absolutely ADORED my VL-1002.... but it would never run for more than a month at a time. Apparently Lee Jacksons design wasn't kosher with the Ampeg bean counters so they decided to make some changes with out his knowledge and turned the amp into a ticking time time bomb.

Exactly the same as the VL-1002, the ribbon connectors they used to connect the PCB's on both models are cheaper than chinese POS's.....
