Fuck...so we've been thinking about going back to Australia in the next year or so. My first thought was, how will i get my gear back to Oz...and the second thought was, how much does this stuff cost in Oz...so i looked up Aussie eBay just to see prices for amps and cabs, and damn it expensive over there!

I think i will have to buy all the gear i think i need in the UK and then move it back...it would work out so much cheaper to ship it then to buy over there.

so now i've started to make a list of the amps and guitars that i want to buy, i have to draw the line at cabs, as i will have to buy them over there...but i would buy speakers here...its going to be an expensive year!

that's not a bad idea.

I'm thinking I'll save up for a Matamp GT1 with some small mods to make it personal...that along with my modded Jet City, will suit me well as far as Amp heads go. Still wouldn't mind having a nice 20'ish combo, maybe some other UK brand like a cornell plexi.

But I also would like to get a few guitars, like a LP and something Firebird'ish, but if go back via US, i would buy my guitars in the US as those are cheaper than UK

I'm 45 minutes south, But would be glad to spend some time there with you guys and I'm sure the rest of us PNW's would be down to guide the tour. A year is time enough to plan quite the shindig!
