Any loaded cab for $80 is a good cab. If its to trebley (is that a word?) just pair it with some 15's when ya get stereo rig hooked up. I'd grab it.

from the sassafras? I'd definitely try one... or six...

Wow, that's a beaut! You going to put an avedissian or a BKP pickup in it? and whats the color gonna be?

I was going to bring up the intonation issue as well but if it's going to be E standard you shouldn't have any issues and if you do decide to change theres a multitude of bridge options for you. I might even have an intonatable version of the bridge laying around the house. I've got alot of random guitar parts.... :picard:

yea im converting over to all Alex's stuff. Im going to sell the BKP set in the LP once he makes me a new pair for that. 1 A8 Hotter PAF HB for the bridge, 1 A5 HB sized P90 for the Neck.

Not sure when I would want to build a guitar but that one looks excellent to me, simple and awesome. Pure Iommi worship with the p90 slotted in the bridge. Some kind of stain/oil finish with TJ's help. That kit requires some work since its true set neck gibson style and not bolt on like Warmoth

That's awesome!!! I'm thinking about hitting him up to wind me a WRHB for the tele or rewind the current one if he can't get the parts. I like the PAF + P90 combo idea, that's what I was running in the V for a while. What kind of BKP's are in your LP right now? I've forgotten.

Oil / Stain finish would be sick on that guitar? Wait its an actual set neck kit?!?!?1 You never see those!! Probably because they are such a pain in the ass, luckily you got TJ around!

Pig90 in HB size, and Stockholm in HB size, heavy hitters.

Yea they make set neck kits, so pull out the glue and clamps.

Mmmmmm.... Maybe we can arrange something when you go to get rid of them. Hit me up when the time comes!

Sounds kinky! :bear:

So I put a new bridge on the white telemaster last night. It's a bad ass Glendale raw steel bridge with no pickup cut out. Not only does the quality and aesthetic blow the stock one out of the water but it actually increased the sustain and resonance. Hopefully gonna order a matching control plate this weekend as its only 25$. I'm getting more and more convinced that I need a maple fretboarded neck though... Been playing the tele custom alot and absolutely love it.

Sure, I will be moving them in pieces likely, as I will get the bridge pup before the neck one as Alex has to proto the neck. I will let u know

Anybody else here feel like gear finds you? I'm totally bonding with that new amp and it fixed up so easy, like it wanted to be played. It fits into my overall sound so well and adds a lot. I didn't think I could get it sounding better than I had it but this is an improvement.

I definitely feel a musical connection to my Fryette Memphis. There is no amp I've ever played that better represented me as a musician. It will never part from me.

That looks like a Rock n Roll Relics SG, right? Gorgeous guitar. All the best with the build.

Oh, wow, that looks delicious. Wish we had that type of stuff over here.

Stunning guitar. All this bridge talk is really making me GAS for a new ash tray bridge for my Telecaster. I want a lip cut out for fingerpicking though.

Thanks mate! All be it pricey both Glendale and Callaham make bad ass bridges in just about any style and layout you would want. Callaham if you want vintage aesthetic, Glendale if you even vintager.

I want to keep the 'dirty' aesthetics of my original bridge. It's all tarnished and beautiful. Do they come with a choice of compensated saddles as well?

Yes they do! I think they might even offer relic services as well.
